Jada: No rain, just wind

In yesterday’s post I said there was a chance of rain. It was a 50% chance but if I was a gambling woman, I would say it isn’t going to happen. The wind has been strong which should allow for a late night of harvesting.

The wheat harvest continues to go quickly and smoothly. Today, Kaidence and I ventured away from our usual schedule and visited our friend Garland at his belt and leather shop.

Once again, we didn’t leave empty handed. He being the gentleman he is treated us to a supper of brisket. It was really good! I think everyone enjoyed it! I made some homemade potato salad, baked beans and mississppi mud bars to accompany the meal.
