Jada: Happy 4th of July!

Happy Independence day! Hope this post finds you in the field or at least in a festive mood. Hoffman Harvesting is at the point where we had to take a break from harvesting because of green wheat and rains that hit the Colby, KS and Goodland, Kan., areas.

We hope to get in the field tomorrow, but in the meantime will enjoy a festive 4th of July cookout and a fireworks show. They shoot fireworks off at the Colby Fairgrounds where we are camping. It is as close as you can get to the action.

Although we haven’t been in the fields, I am going to post some miscellaneous photos of our days in Colby.

Kaidence and Molly
We got a visit from some relatives on my mother’s side. Here is Molly Bieber holding Kaidence. Other visitors were Molly’s parents and my Grandpa’s sister, Margaret. They stopped by while on the way to Denver.
