Jenna: June 15

Today was a hot day. It was in the high 90s with high humidity (not sure what the percentage was.) Of all the days for the air conditioner in the front of the trailer-house to break, it broke today. We’ve still got the one in the back though, which we are extremely thankful for!

It rained a little last night, so my parents didn’t even attempt to cut until after lunch. They got a whole 18 acres cut before they had to call it quits because it was too tough, due to the humidity. The forecast shows it is suppose to be hot and dry for the rest of the week, so I hope that is true. It would be good for cutting…not so good for a hot trailer-house, though!

My excitement for the day was going to Wheeler Brothers Grain and meeting/visiting with Cathy and the staff (sorry I can’t remember everyone’s names!). They seem like really great people, and I’m not just saying that because they gave me a free pop. :] I’ll probably have to go visit more often…they are the only people I “know” in town!
