03 Aug Jada: Hoffman Harvesting wraps up harvest in Limon

Thanks to another sunny day in Limon, Colo., we have finally wrapped up harvest at this stop. We are loaded and ready to move to Gettysburg, SD, where we will reunite with the rest of the crew. Since it is a long trip, we will leave early tomorrow so we can reach our destination. The trip will take us around 10 hours if we don’t have any major break downs or flat tires.

We will have a couple days of harvesting winter wheat in Gettysburg and then we will have a break as the spring wheat is still off a week or so. Hopefully the weather will agree so that everyone can take some time out to go to Sturgis, SD to attend the 69th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. We are also looking forward to going to river to enjoy boating and jet skiing and of course can’t wait to see family and friends we haven’t seen since May.
