09 Jul Oberlin, Kansas
Wheat lines the dirt road in Oberlin, Kan., and the sight of the first fields to be cut – provided rain stays away.
Cutting a sample in Oberlin, Kan. This field tested 14 percent moisture, so with a little luck – and no rain – we should be able to cut in the afternoon.
We cut a few samples, but the moisture was not low enough to continue. Rain clouds and thunder and headed in our direction.
