We spent the 4th of July in true American fashion – we had a neighborhood BBQ and then all the kids lit fireworks until they ran out! It was a great way to celebrate our Freedom and what America offers!

Our family spent the fourth celebrating my mother-in-laws 90th birthday with all her siblings (all still living) and my father-in-laws siblings, also all living!!! One of those couples also was celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary, and all of their children, grand-children (and inlaws) and great grandchildren (Except one) came back to celebrate the fourth in grand ‘western kansas style’ with fireworks and family reunions!! God Bless America!!!

The 4th of July was spent golfing with family, raking, baling and moving lots of hay bales. We also mowed around the farm and enjoyed our children and grandchild as they decided to spend the night and leave on Tuesday.

    Catching fish and drinking beer.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in boat and drink beer.
