19 May Jada: Family time harvest style
What does my family do to spend time together in the midst of harvest? We hang out in the combine when times allows. It actually is a good place for conversation if there aren’t any distractions such as phone calls, break downs or upcoming field moves. When it rains, we do something special together if work isn’t on the horizon. Sometimes it doesn’t happen for awhile and we can’t get away. This is the next best thing- maybe even better.
Getting ready for a ride with daddy!
Kaidence and her daddy, Leon, enjoy Bulgin family time.
Future Hoffman Harvesting combine operator takes her turn at the wheel. When we come to an end of a line we are cutting, we need to turn the machine around and get straight before starting the GPS again. This is when our eager little driver likes to “help” out.
The wheat in this field is looking good!
