Emma: A wedding and a parts run

Emma_thumbnailA wedding and a parts run, odd I know but that’s exactly what I’ve been up to this past week. While waiting for the wheat to ripen around home, we took a road trip to South Dakota. Andy, the son of a customer tied the knot. I’ve known Andy since I was six years old, and I consider him as part of my family. We all have gotten to know and love Maggie as well over the past two years. I was honored that Andy and Maggie asked me to take pictures for their special day. Dan was also in the wedding as a groomsman. We would not have missed it for the world!

Along with our own machinery repairs, we also fix surrounding farmers machines. Since we were taking a trip to So. Dak., we decided to save money on shipping and pick up the combine parts we needed. Even though we will not be harvesting a lot of wheat this year, we still need to upkeep the machines and make them field ready. We are praying that the fall crops will make up for the poor wheat.

Be safe and God bless!
