19 Jul A little tractor repair
Even when it rains, we still have work to do. We may not be in the field, but we have plenty to do around the shop, like tractor repair. This isn’t just any old tractor that we were working on. It is a John Deere 4020, and my brother Dan is the fourth owner of it, and the previous owners were family. I guess you could say we keep it in the family! We use this tractor to lift heavy parts for machinery or to lift something high. A tractor and loader is a very handy tool around the shop.
Mom isn’t normally helping us out in the shop, but very often she does come out and turn a wrench or two. She has enough work of her own to keep her busy all dang day. And I would NOT want to switch jobs with her! Here are a few pics to show what sort of repairs we have been doing to it.
Be safe and God bless!

Posted at 11:06h, 19 JulyThat is good to have a tractor to do the heavy work.
That is great your Mom has you and your Brother and all the other family. That says she and your Father taught you all how to work and still have fun.
Here in south central Kansas we are having lot of wind, but to be 105 heat index today. That is summer. Take care Sharon Drake, Winfield, Ks. 7/19/15

Posted at 00:30h, 06 AugustI think my brother would have to agree with you Tom! I’m not too sure on the year, I’d have to get back to you on that.
