Nebraska — Fall harvest is continuing with good combine weather, and we’ll take it! This is one of the fastest paced fall harvests ever, and I love it. I’ve been asked how much we have left and when will we finish. It’s October 28, and at this point, I’d say a couple of weeks.
The corn yield has been average and test weights 56 to 61 pounds per bushel. It’s standing nearly perfectly well, and that is the best, as well as having so much good weather. Our forecast remains clear with highs in the 50s and 60s.
