South Central Nebraska—It’s Oct. 9 and it has been a very busy soybean harvest. Across the fields I'm seeing decent yields anywhere from 60 to 100 bushels per acre. Overall, the soybeans are yielding in the 70s and 80s. The late summer heat hurt the soybean yields. They just aren't quite as good as usual but still good soybeans. The dryland pivot corners are yielding 30 to 40 bushels per acre.





Currently, our crews are split up six ways. Here, there's four cutting soybeans and two picking corn. In Kansas there's two cutting milo. In

Worthington, Minnesota—Worthington, Minnesota, is where we are based, yet not where all our machines are currently combining. Just here by home, we have three crews working between Round Lake, and Sioux Valley, Minnesota, and Hartley, Iowa. We also have a crew by Elkton and Roscoe, South Dakota. It's a lot to keep up with, but I'll give you the best run down I can.

Southeast Texas—Hi y'all. We began the week with moving the rest of our cotton pickers from central Texas to southeast Texas. We hauled our pickers early in the morning, arrived to the drop off location, then unloaded the machine, next drive back to central Texas, and then load the next machine for the next days haul. We did this for three days straight.
