We reflect on the blessing we were able to harvest. Talk about changes for next year. Depending on the time of day, we will try to have a sit down supper together.

Growing up in central North Dakota, our end of wheat harvest ritual was my Grandfather running a straw hat through the combine! (i don’t know where he got the idea from). This was followed by an ‘end of harvest supper’ where my entire family would go out for a nice steak.
I have very fond memories of North Dakota farm life. I’m employed in the Ag industry but truly miss farm life. Reading the blogs brings me back to the excitement and challenges of wheat harvest. Thanks to all the bloggers taking the time to share as I’m certain blogging was not at the top of the priority list for you!

We take a day off then clean the equipment really good put it all in the barn than clean yourself up and go to the steakhouse and have a great set down supper and. Talk about some changes we should make for next year’s harvest
