Emma: Austin Home for Harvest

EmmaOur hired help, Austin, is from northwest Kansas where harvest is currently underway. About a week ago, he left for home to help his family with harvest. You can always use another hand around to help when unexpected things come up during harvest. Fortunately we could do without him for the allotted time and he was able to go home. It is always nice to go home and see family.

Austin and his family finished with their wheat harvest yesterday, and he said that it averaged around 40 bushels per acre. It has always been hit or miss in that area of the country. It was nice to see a good outcome. I am glad he was home to help with harvest. Now it is back to working on machinery!

Be safe and God bless!
